As I Am

Thank you Abba Father for making me a unique person. I love myself as I am. Thanks for making me in Your image and likeness. I may not look like you or may not even understand the meaning of these words but I thank you for it. You have made me the most wonderful creation – highest among all your creations. Thank you Lord for such an honor.

I’m sorry for the times I’ve hated myself. At times I felt I needed to be more handsome. I also complained about that guy’s talent and pitied myself. But the crucial realization of who I truly am made me feel good about myself. I need not be more handsome than anyone. I just love my face as it is.

I realize that I need to work on a few things like my jealousy at others’ success. Lord, help me to appreciate others’ work and also help me do the things I find difficult. For all the qualities which you have put in me I thank you. It really makes me feel different. I’m sorry Lord, for the times I’m ungrateful for all the gifts I’ve received. I thank you for all my inner and outer qualities especially athletics which I didn’t open up with before but now really admire and the ability to love and care for people. Thank you Lord for everything.
